From the island of Penang in Malaysia, I found a cheap flight to a city called Johor Bahru, which is the Malaysia city along the border of Singapore. So I saved a lot of money by flying there, and then taking two buses to get from the airport across the border. I was glad I did, though, because I got to see the city, which was a massive riot of colour. Every building was painted in some shade of Easter egg colours, why, I cannot say.
